Sam has also had a number of awards for his work including having an image named as one of the Sunday Times magazines 'pictures of the year' in 2007.

So what does all this have to do with weddings?

In recent times the photojournalistic style of photography has become very popular with many couples and as a result lots of photographers who previously shot more traditional images have moved into this area, imitating the style.

As a full time photojournalist Sam has works this way all the time and this experience stands him in good stead to photograph weddings. The constant practice helps him refine his technique and train his eye for pictures. He often has to work quickly and unobtrusively while fighting off competing photographers which all helps on your big day as Sam can capture the day while ensuring minimal disruption to proceedings.

Sam does not photograph weddings day in day out, resisting the temptation to pile them high, he only accepts a limited number of weddings a year so that he can keep each one special rather than allowing it to become a production line operation. Each wedding can then benefit from careful pre planning and preparation to help Sam be ready to capture the magic when it happens.

As a result there are no set prices on this website so if you are interested in having Sam photograph your big day then please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
